‘This is Burma’, wrote Kipling. ‘It is quite unlike any place you know about.’ How right he was, and more than a century later Myanmar remains a world apart. Contemplate 4000 sacred stupas scattered across the plains of Bagan. Meet the multitalented monks, cross the amazing teak bridge at sunset as seen here and on our home page.

The people of Burma are warm and friendly, who speak good English and always come across as  happy souls. Indeed it is very humbling to meet the local people who have very little money or possessions, and are in fact prisoners in their own country which is ruled by tyrants. All in all Burma is one of the most spectacular countries in the world and we hope you enjoy this choice of pictures from our visit their.
